Benjamin Bachus, Psy.D

Having lived in the Broward-Dade area for the better part of the past decade, Benjamin Bachus, Psy.D., of Thriving Center of Psychology has direct knowledge of the unique stressors and benefits that come with everyday life in South Florida. He enjoys helping people to gain clarity and control over their thoughts, to help them align their values and their behaviors and lead a life they can be proud of and enjoy.

Dr. Bachus utilizes techniques and principles drawn from a wide array of psychological orientations such as Cognitive Behavioral therapy and Acceptance & Commitment therapy. However, Dr. Bachus understands that the single most important element of any therapeutic relationship is just that, the relationship itself. He will work with you (not just for you) to make sure that you feel welcomed and accepted, but also challenged to become the person that you want to be. He specializes in working with anxiety, substance abuse, relationship difficulties, and individuals on the autism spectrum, and would love to be the catalyst to you making a difference in your life today!
