Zuzanna Molenda, Ph.D.
Dr. Molenda (Zuzanna) received her doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Seton Hall University in 2016. In addition, she earned a master’s degree in Counseling from The College of New Jersey and an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Mercy College.
She has been working clinically for the past eleven years, including her graduate school clinical training experience. Her clinical training included working with individuals across the lifespan in a variety of outpatient settings. Dr. Molenda has substantial experience working with a diverse college student population which she gained during her training at college/university counseling centers. Her training experiences also included conducting psychological testing and individual and group therapy with children and adolescents in an outpatient hospital setting.
She uses an integrative approach in her clinical work as she conceptualizes from psychodynamic perspective while incorporating CBT and DBT techniques and family systems perspective in her work with clients. While applying evidence-based interventions, she uses a collaborative approach in working with clients in order to assist them in meeting their goals. She also integrates multicultural and developmental considerations in treatment planning to fully attend to clients’ needs while focusing on their well-being and resilience.
Dr. Molenda has clinical experience working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, bereavement, substance use, and interpersonal and adjustment difficulties. She provides individual, family and couples therapy. Dr. Molenda works with children, adolescents and adults.
